The ScandiPhone is based on the Ericofon which was introduced in Europe in the 1950’s, and is identifiable by it’s original upright shape. This particular design is based on the push button version that was introduced in the 1960’s.
The push buttons are cleverly concealed under the base of the phone, transforming the phone into one single unit instead of the traditional base and handset. The phone is available in 4 colours, red, black, white and chrome, and features everything a standard phone has including a redial button, and a ringer volume on/off switch.
A classic design which in 1973 was selected to be part of the New York Museum of Modern Art’s Collection, representing a piece of good design in the 20th Century.
