A classic idea with modern design and practicality, this steamer basket from Joseph Joseph is both convenient and durable.

The unit is non-scratch and can be used with steel pans or non-stick cookware and is dishwasher safe. Although it has a large capacity when opened fully, the self-adjusting sides allow the Lotus to fit into most pans. As an added advantage, it will also fold away neatly for easy storage.

The main structure of the Lotus steamer is crafted from high quality polypropylene which is heat resistant up to 110°C/230°F. It also incorporates highly heat resistant (up to 270°C/520°F) silicone feet and a silicone finger guard.
