The light comes with a large white glass shade which holds a 20W energy saving E27 bulb, that lasts for up to 5000 hours. The large domed shade also incorporates a handle, which can be used to adjust the drop height of the light itself.

The light comes with a special spring action drop line attached to the shade, which allows you to raise and lower the height of the light. It works on a ratchet which allows you to lock the length of the line in place in the same way you would window blinds.

Due to it’s extendable drop height this light would work brilliantly over dining room tables.
